2 weeks old

Wyatt is 2 weeks old already.  It's so amazing to think how much he's changed in just 14 days.  He's just barely still wearing his newborn clothes and has filled out in the face and even looks a little longer.  I am very grateful for all the love and support from family and friends and our church.  It is really touching to see people come together for no other reason than to help someone, and we are doing really well.  Wyatt is sleeping really well and only gets fussy in the evenings, and he is already starting to have a schedule.  He really is a great baby and is thriving.  We take him to the pediatrician Monday, and we'll see just how much weight he's gained.  He is so small and new to the world, yet so perfect.

Here's the video from the hospital.  He was born at 1:14 not 1:11.  I say it wrong in the video.

This one is Wyatt's first bath.  His umbilical cord fell off at 7 days, so we could finally give him a real bath.

This one is Wyatt's week old birthday.  I decided to sing him happy birthday!

We have been singing Rocky Top to Wyatt, and I have almost memorized all the words.  No wonder Tennesseans are so proud; you start them young!  I'm not even sure of an Ohio song I can sing.

We have been taking tons of pictures so here are some of my favorites.

Only a couple of days old.

Photo shoot with Daddy's duck lanyard and calls.

The hand is for scale.

Little bean.

Moments with mommy.

Relaxing.

He'll have to grow a little...

Ahhhh....

Chillin' in the tub/sink.

Ready to leave the house!

So small.

Baby Colvin - 41 weeks

Hi Everyone,

We went to the doctor today and had some tests to make sure the baby isn't in any kind of stress or needs to be delivered for any reason.  Everything was good but they want to induce Friday at the latest.  Hope you enjoy these pictures.

Love,

The Colvins

My First Attempt at a Blog

Hi Everyone!

This is my first attempt at creating a blog.  I'm going to play around with it and learn how to post pictures and videos.  The purpose of this blog is to allow friends and family to watch our little addition grow and feel closer to us even though we can be separate by thousands of miles.  We really are excited about this new chapter in our life and can't wait to share it with all of you.
