Easter 2012 Picturess

Thanks, Grandma for taking all these wonderful pictures.  I'm, as usual, a little behind on posting updates about our energetic one year old.  We had a very family filled Easter and got to hunt Easter eggs at Steve and Teresa's who hide over 500 eggs for the little ones.  We were in Ohio for a very quick trip and got lots of pictures.  Enjoy!

Growing and so full of energy

I have a lot of adorable videos of Wyatt so I'm going to share as many as I can upload.

We are still having a blast together, and I get to see Wyatt develop and learn new words and behaviors everyday.  It's so amazing how much energy they have and how quickly they change and grow into little people.  He has started throwing "frustration tantrums" already which seems so early but I guess I'd rather just go ahead and get this stage over.  Terrible twos is more like 13 months in this house but oh well.  I know becoming independent and being so new to the world must be a challenge for a little one.  He actually threw a fit in Walgreens not long ago b/c I would not let him pull all the greeting cards out and litter them throughout the store.  I had to walk away and try to ignore my screaming child in the floor of a public place.  He already does not like to have things taken from him and gets mad when I take his pacy.

He says new words all the time and is learning the joy of climbing and dancing.  One morning we woke up and he sat straight and pointed up and said "up" clear as a bell.  I had been reading him a book with the word up in it.  Today he said yuck yuck and eat and still loves the word Evey.  He really enjoys saying "b" for boat and bird and just about anything.  The funniest thing is that he started called me Ah-may out of the blue.  Now if I say Amy he'll repeat it, so I guess I'm not longer Momma any more.  I don't think I even knew my parents had names until I was in school!  Other words he likes are light, hot, balloon, ball, etc.

I'm trying to plan the next reunion for him and some of my side of the family, so I should have lots of new pictures sometime in the next month or two.

Good times

Wyatt is so funny.  Rob taught him to do the Fonze "Aye" which I don't even really know who Fonze is but know he's a funny joke.  Wyatt thinks it's hilarious when Rob gives a thumbs up and says "Ayyyyye".  Wyatt's version is a pointer finger with the same sound.  He also gives kisses today which is a wide open mouth.  He's been giving hugs and is really loving but the kisses are new.  So sweet.

Here's a few pictures from our beach trip to Biloxi a while back.  I want to frame a few but still need to do so much with pictures from his first year.  I have a great baby book from my mom and have pieces of it together.  I just need to devote a whole day to nothing but archiving Wyatt's first year.  So hard to believe he was just a little 7 pound baby a year ago and now can communicate with words and play with toys that require quite a bit of coordination.  We borrowed a great button book from a friend of mine, and he really enjoys putting the buttons which are attached to a ribbon on a book into the cut out circles.
