My Big 4 Year Old

In the midst of all the newness of a baby coming home and being born, Wyatt celebrated his 4th Birthday!!!!

We had a small family birthday lunch and invited a friend to have cake and ice cream with us.  Wyatt really enjoyed the day and even got to go to Pet Smart and pick out some fish for part of his present.  He also got a BB gun from his granny and poppa and couldn't be more excited about it.  It is so hard to believe 4 years have gone by since he was the one I was home with and holding as a little infant.  He is so excited to be 4 years old.

A Big Wheel and with the weather so nice he's already gotten lots time riding it.
This is his face when he opened his BB gun!

He loves his underwear card from Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Allan!

1 week old

Levi Forrest is ONE week old today.  We have had grandma and grandpa here and have been able to take lots of pictures.  It's amazing how much Levi's looks have changed just in one week.  At the hospital, he looked exactly like Wyatt.  I could tell some differences esp. the hair but everyone was in awe by how much they look alike as newborns.

My first sponge bath.
First outing for check-up.  7 llbs. 10oz.
Getting a pretend shot from my big brother.

Such a good big brother.

Any one else think this looks exactly like Wyatt?

Mornings in bed with these two are the best.

Ready to meet this little face

We went to the midwife appointment today to check on how our little one is doing.  I'm a week past the due date, and they wanted to check to be sure the baby is still doing fine.  All tests were good, and we got to see this sweet little baby's heart pumping, lungs moving, and lips puckering.  You can actually see in the pictures below he/she was moving his/her lips.  It was really sweet.  We hope to see our baby's face in person very soon.

Here are a couple pictures of Wyatt with Rob's new trapping basket.  It reminds us of a Native American carrying an infant around.  Wyatt thought it was awesome.

Just trying to have fun and enjoy my almost 4 year old.  I'm glad I can focus some extra time and attention with my sweet boy.
